Staff Selection Commission (SSC)

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a recruitment organization of the Government of India. Its main responsibility is to conduct competitive examinations for recruitment to various central government ministries, departments, and organizations. SSC is mandated to recruit for many Group B and Group C posts, including posts in attached and subordinate offices of the Government of India.
