Government of Bihar was a pioneer State in the implementation of electronic tendering for procurements in 2009 for augmenting transparency, confidentiality and security in public procurement domain. Bihar State Electronics Development Corporation (BSEDC), a Government of Bihar undertaking, is the Nodal agency for its implementation.
